Why is there no free tier?

ShopKit is built for serious shops that need compliance and depth, not a digital udhaar book. Free options exist (Khatabook, Udhaar Book) — use those if you only need a credit ledger.

What happens after the trial?

Trial expiry is non-blocking — your shop keeps working and your data stays safe. We'll WhatsApp you to arrange payment via JazzCash, EasyPaisa, or bank transfer.

Can I switch between Lite and Pro?

Anytime, from Settings → Plan & billing. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period.

Do I need Pro?

If your shop is a sales-tax-registered Tier-1 retailer (FBR's SRO 709 list), yes — Pro is the only ShopKit plan that issues legally compliant invoices. Otherwise Lite is plenty.
